TaNeka is a member of our compliance group whose primary responsibilities include the day to day management of our clients’ compliance programs. Her duties range from the coordination of annual review onsite visits to the management of client communications to ultimately keeping the compliance calendar on track.
TaNeka previously worked for the SEC as a contract paralegal where she specialized in mutual fund and ETF documentation review. TaNeka brings to CCS experience reviewing registration materials for new funds, funds under investigation or subject to enforcement and reviewing for compliance with ongoing registration rules/regulations. TaNeka has also worked as a law clerk in the Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia.
TaNeka earned a B.A. in Psychology from California Baptist University and an LL.M. in Advocacy from American University Washington College of Law. She also earned her J.D. from Arizona Summit Law School. She is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals, Philadelphia Chapter, the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division, Philadelphia Chapter and the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Inc.
During her time away from CCS, TaNeka serves as a board member for Blessings, Inc. a non-profit organization in Philadelphia.
